COVID 19 And Mental Health

During these unprecedented times of COVID 19, everything has become questionable. Things have continuously been changing with us humans trying to acclimate to whatever life throws at us. COVID 19 has impacted every sphere of our life.

Alongside physical health, it has unfortunately also posed a major consequence on our mental health. Surveys and interviews show a drastic rise in cases of anxiety, depression, loneliness, and much more. Numerous unanswered questions including the big question mark on “When will the pandemic end?” has led us all to stress.

Fewer social gatherings have increased the feeling of loneliness, whilst so many restrictions make people feel melancholy and anxious since they are now stuck in a monotonous routine.

To feel a bit relieved from these painful emotions, there are a few things that can be done. This includes phone calls with family and friends, eating healthy, and maintaining a good sleep schedule. If you tend to start stressing out, you should pick a hobby and distract yourself from the apprehension. Through this, you can develop new talent and feel more satisfied as well.

We are all in this together, and if we try and do things that can better our mental health, we will be able to support everyone and get through this pandemic!
